Jaron Gilinsky is the Founder and CEO of Storyhunter. Before that, Jaron worked as a foreign correspondent based in the Middle East. He produced and directed scores of documentaries on a range of international topics for Time, Current TV, CNN World Report, and the New York Times. Jaron is one of the pioneers of "backpack video journalism" and enjoys working in repressive media environments like North Korea, Cuba, Iraq, Nepal, and Lesotho. He is also a new media commentator, documentary critic, and adjunct journalism professor. Jaron produced and directed the feature documentary film on Israel's Disengagement from Gaza in 2005, titled, "Disengagement."
